HSSE Committed
Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) policy is embedded in all works carried out by Stonepay.
In addition to our Corporate Constitution (link), our International Standards of Practice (link), and our Environmental-Smarts Principles (link), Stonepay's ongoing commitment to the prevention of injury to people or damage to the environment and property serves as the foundation for all our projects.
Stonepay's HSSE Policy
Stonepay's HSSE policy sets forth a strategy that is to be followed, within reason, by all Stonepay employees, sub-trades, and all individuals and entities working on Stonepay-managed sites and locations.
The aim of this policy is to attempt to minimize the potential health and safety risks for all individuals that may come in contact with the works carried out by the company. Fundamental to this policy is the acceptance that the notion of a healthy and safe environment is only achievable through proactive participation by all the involved members.
Through collective collaboration, Stonepay is committed to promoting a safe and healthy workplace, reducing the risk of incident and injury, as well as attempting to prevent damage to the environment and property.
Each division, in cooperation with the each other, ensures that at a minimum, steps have been taken in regards to:
- Safety training
- Workforce competence
- Personal Protective Equipment
- Workplace inspections, monitoring, auditing, and reviewing
- Accident reporting and investigation
- Emergency and First Aid arrangements
- Cleanliness and hygiene
- Risk assessment and risk management
- Meetings and discussions on health and safety issues
The implementation of the HSSE policy is monitored and reviewed at least once annually.
